Adidas has been distributing women’s version of their club and national team jerseys for a while, featuring a lower cut v-neck. Following the launch of Manchester United adidas home kit last week, some fans put the club and the German brand under fire because of the ‘sexist’ design of the women’s version. Adidas stated that this jersey is part of a ‘lifestyle’ range and is thought to give female fans a different choice.

Old Trafford Transformation Completed
Juan Mata unveils 2015/16 Manchester United jersey
World Soccer Shop was present at Manchester United’s jersey launch event, and we took a look at the transformation in Old Trafford. The Stretford End waits patiently on the west side of the stadium while the East End has a new look with the club’s new technical sponsor adidas’ logo covering the seats. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of EA Sports FIFA 16 and the company is teasing the new soccer season with the game trailer, featuring new jerseys, celebrations, dynamics and improvement to career mode.

adidas Create Your Own Game Video

Adidas released their latest promo video, challenging the next generation of creators to take inspiration from the heroes but ‘unfollow’ them so they can set their own path and push the game forward. Leo Messi, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Mesut Ozil and Thomas Muller are all featured as the players that will be the future stars ‘competition’.

Tottenham Hotspur unveil 15/16 Under Armour Third Kit
Ahead of their game against Real Madrid for the Audi Cup, Tottenham Hotspur revealed their new Under Armour 15/16 third kit. The shirt features a nice and clean design, using purple to make it stand out and create a modern look. The white neck has a V cut, and purple pinstripes on white base appear on the cuffs and hem. A special graphic inspired on the THFC plaque which overlooks White Hart Lane is placed on the inner neck, connecting the shirt with the club’s history and tradition.

No Truth to Yokohama ‘Tires’ Rumor in U.S.
Chelsea jerseys in US will have Yokohama Tyres spelling
After Chelsea unveiled their new home and away kits, some Internet rumors spread that a special U.S. version of them would feature the Yokohama Tyres logo with ‘Americanized’ spelling (going for Yokohama Tires). World Soccer Shop can confirm this is NOT true, as you can see in the above picture, taken at our warehouse, the jerseys are the same as everywhere else around the globe.

Bundesliga Comes to Fox Sports

Fox Sports has secured rights to broadcast Bundesliga matches in the U.S. on their channels Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. They will debut their coverage on August 14th when they broadcast the Bayern Munich v Hamburg clash. Throughout the season, Fox Sports 1 will carry 58 matches and Fox Sports 2 will carry a further 60 matches. For Spanish speaking fans, 105 matches will be shown on Fox Deportes, while all matches can be live stream on the Fox Soccer 2 Go app.
