O Rei (The King) Pelé was born on October 23, 1940 and today the world celebrates his 75th birthday. He is, with no doubt, one of the greatest soccer legends in the entire history of the game. He led Brazil to three FIFA World Cup titles, and scored more than 1000 goals during his professional career. The entire world was hyped on October 21, 2015. It couldn’t be otherwise, as that was the day when Marty McFly, main character of the ‘Back to the future’ franchise visited the future in on of the films. Arsenal shocked Bayern Munich by beating them 2-0 at the Emirates stadium. The Gunners got a much needed win to keep their qualification hopes alive following two surprising defeats against Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb.
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid clashed in the most anticipated game of the week. Stars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ángel Di María and Sergio Ramos left everything on the field in a exciting draw. …and UEFA Europa League emotions

Borussia Dortmund are having a good time in the UEFA Europa League. Their last 3-1 victory had Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as the hero of the day, with a Hat-Trick that keeps his goalscoring tally updated. BVB lead the way in their group with seven points in three games.
Liverpool played their first game in Anfield since Jurgen Klopp’s arrival. Things were going badly for them, but Emre Can grabbed the equalizer before the end of the game, saving Klopp’s first outing in front of The Kop.
FIFA Ballon d’Or Shortlist Revealed
The shortlist of finalists for the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015 has been revealed by FIFA and France Football, and it includes the names of some of the world’s biggest stars. The 23 men on the list were decided on by football experts from FIFA’s Football Committee as well as experts from France Football. The winner will be announced on January 11th, 2016 at the Kongresshaus in Zurich.
