Dos A Cero: USMNT defeats Mexico
We could not write a Recap for this week without metioning the game that faced USMNT and Mexico in the Alamodome. Despite having secondary rosters (with some of the usual names with them), both teams and fans lived the game with the usual intensity and desire of victory. The final result could not be better, 2-0 for the United States in their bold blue away kit against a white dressed Mexican side. The “Dos a Cero” chants and hastags were inevitable, thanks to the goals of college player Jordan Morris and the returning Juan Agudelo.
That does it for this week’s recap! Looking ahead at next week: Nike is said to be releasing the 2015 USA Home kit ahead of this summer’s Gold Cup, while adidas are set to launch their limited edition Primeknit 2.0 boot.
