Messi adidas Pibe de Barr10 boots:
The week kicked off with the special release of Lionel Messi’s new adidas boots – Pibe de Barr10 – which take inspiration from the city where he was born, Rosario. Combining white with black and red details, these boots mirror the wall graffiti that can be found in that Argentinian city. Messi debuted them against Manchester City on Wednesday, making a magnificent game, including a brilliant assist to set Ivan Rakitić for the only goal scored that night.

Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Silverware boots:
Nike’s counterattack was to release Cristiano Ronaldo’s new Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Silverware, that resemble the Out of This World cleats, but adding a shiny silver cover representing de trophies that soccer stars pursue at this point of the season; the Dynamic Fit collar goes in dark blue to generate a nice color contrast. The Portuguese superstar is set to debut them in Sunday’s game against Barcelona, a new edition of El Clasico.

Portugal Nike Away Kit:
Speaking of Cristiano Ronaldo, his National Team released a stunning away kit that features black as main color with an interesting graphic on the front that represents the speed of their games, using green and red to highlight the national colors; an armillary sphere representing their seafaring history is placed on the inner collar. The shorts and socks are black with red details, and the whole kit is expected to debut in Portugal vs Serbia on March 29th.

Netherlands Nike Away Kit:
Netherlands replaced the fans favorite blue away kit from last summer FIFA World Cup with a white combination that represents agility. The jersey will be mainly white, in order to highlight the orange details used for the crest, neck, side lines and Nike’s Swoosh logo. The shorts follow the same line of design; combining orange and white in a dynamic horizontal gradient pattern. The Lion’s crown sits in a pennant tab on the inner neck.

Paraguay Copa America Adidas Home & Away Kits:
In a public event, the APF (Paraguayan Football Asociation) presented the Albirroja’s new adidas home and away kits for 2015 Copa América, to be played later this year in Chile. The home kit retains the classic red/white striped design, adding a detail resembling the Federation’s logo on the red zones. The away kit is bold, using two shades of grey combined in horizontal pinstripes with white details on the collar and cuffs. The waist zone will go in blue, and a special logo representing their home ground – Defensores del Chaco Stadium – appears on the upper back.
