Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club flirted to promotion early in the 2014/15 season before finishing in seventh place in the Football League Championship table (missing the playoffs by four goals).
Wolves kick off their 2015/16 season on August 8th in new home and away kits from PUMA.
The Wolverhampton 15/16 home jersey uses PUMA’s new Pitch design with a v-neck collar and the German company’s iconic T7 shoulder taping. It is in the customary red brown of the Midlands club and paired with black shorts and matching socks.
Of note is the that v-neck on the jersey is quite wide and low and exposed a bit of players’ upper chest. Expect to see them wearing compression gear under it particularly during the colder months.
Wolves 2015/16 PUMA away jersey sees the club in blue for the first time in recently memory. The PUMA design used for the shirt appears to be an update of the one used for the Italy EURO 2012 home jersey. It’s expected to be quite popular because of its classy shawl-inspired collar and placket with hidden buttons. Blue shorts and socks that both have white taping finish off the new alternate.
