VfL Wolfsburg unveiled their 2015/16 home jersey earlier today and at the presentation announced that they would wear a memorial jersey to Junior Malanda when they face Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal Final at the Olympiastadion on Saturday.
The Wolves will wear the 2015/16 home jersey and include a green heart with the #19 on the left chest above the green chevron and team badge.
“The heart is in memory of Junior Malanda. In recent months, we have often said we were playing with him on our minds and that is particularly the case in this final. This concerted action is a specific reminder of that,” Director of Sport Klaus Allofs said on the team’s official website at the unveiling.
