Mercurial is one of the most iconic names in the world of soccer cleats. Since their 1998 debut, these shoes have been featured on the feet of remarkable players such as Ronaldo Nazario and Cristiano Ronaldo. Today, Nike have revealed a stunning colorway that combines 16 of the most memorable Mercurial boots.

The cleat lived up to hype!  World Soccer Shop sold out of the limited edition cleat in less than 1 minute with customers eagerly awaiting notification that they were online so they could be the first in line.  Be sure to follow World Soccer Shop on their social media channels for the latest limited edition releases.  Keep your eyes open for cleat spottings of this rare beast.

The “What The Mercurial shoes” showcase elements from 16 different shoes on the upper of a Mercurial Superfly IV model, creating a bold design that honors their rich history from almost 20 years. The radical look seen on these cleats is a nod to the quicksilver play that ‘Mercurial’ aims to represent, and will remain in the memories of many of us thanks to its unique design.

Four past Mercurial logos are combined to form a logo on the heel tab and aglets, while each piece of history is separated vertically on each shoe. A total of 18 different colors from previous Mercurial cleats are used on this model, marking a first in Nike Soccer books.

“What The Mercurial” come within a special colorful “What the Box”, accompanied by a “What The Bag” that showcases a timeline of Mercurial cleats.
