West Ham United are channeling the club’s forerunners, Thames Ironworks, for a commemorative jersey by Umbro. The Thames Ironworks Football Club were founded in 1895, and reformed in 1900 as West Ham United. The Irons will be applying a modern flavor to this vintage look, which debuts in next Sunday’s friendly with Juventus in the new London Olympic Stadium. The jersey will also be used for FA Cup matches.

The dark navy jersey features a very tailored look with a polo collar. The TIWFC badge, a Union Jack with the initials TIW on top with FC under the flag, is placed on the left side of the chest across from the Umbro Double Diamond mark. The back of the shirt has crossing hammers in claret under the collar. Even the shirt sponsor Betway appears sublimated in black. The shorts and socks are also in navy.

West Ham United gear is available at World Soccer Shop.
