A fixture in the Barclays Premier League for the last five years, West Bromwich Albion open their season against Manchester City in the first Monday night match of the 2015/16 season on August 10th.
As The Baggies prepare for another season in the world’s most popular soccer league, they’ve launched their 2015/16 home and away kits from adidas.
WBA are back in their fan-favored dark blue and white home stripes next season after donning an unpopular white jersey with dark blue pinstripes last time out. It has a red on its collar and sleeve cuffs. The color is taken from the cherries on the West Brom crest. The uniform is completed by white shorts and socks for a clean football kit look.
West Brom have looked to the very successful First Division (predecessor to the Premier League) campaigns of the 1970s and 1980s for the inspiration behind their 15/16 away jersey. It is highlighted by a crest made up of the team’s initials in cursive font. Definitely old school in feel, it was used on Baggies’ kits from 1976/77 to 1985/86.
In a dark shade of red, the new West Brom alternate shirt is accented with black pinstripes, adidas branding, and meshing. It is matched with black shorts and socks.
