Tom Watson hit the links this year with a new look. The 8-time major championship winner signed with Calloway Golf and part of the deal has him playing with the Callaway Truvis Chrome Soft ball.
The Truvis pattern is familiar from the black-and-white soccer balls popular in the 1970’s and 1980’s. The Callaway Truvis Chrome Soft ball uses a red-and-white colorway and the contrast is said provide a better view of the ball. The ball’s ‘Soft’ core allows better feel and spin without effecting distance.

Watson debuted the new ball (and his new Callaway golf clubs) at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai.

You can take a little piece of the beautiful game out on the links with a dozen balls running $38 at most golf retailers.
