Carolina Venegas will be applying her ‘Pura Vida’ touch when she laces up her Nike Mercurial Superfly cleats at the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Canada. The Costa Rica forward collaborated with Kickasso and World Soccer Shop to design a custom cleat for this summer.
‘Pura Vida’ is a common phrase in Costa Rica which means the ‘pure life.’ It can be used as a greeting, farewell, or simply as a way to say all is well with you. The Nike Mercurial Superfly SG Pro in the Bright Crimson/Black colorway was the canvas for this Kickasso masterpiece. The inspiration for the artistic design came from the essence of the country with green for the vegetation, a blue Nike swoosh for the water, and yellow for the sun.
I want to thank @worldsoccershop for the sponsorship and all the support they gave to me! Also, want to thank the artist Kickasso for designing the exclusive “Pura Vida” model of Nike Mercurial Superfly boots, they are amazing! I’m so proud to represent the essence of my country with these awesome boots! Los “Pura Vida” ️️ #WWC #Canada2015
