Lewis Up For Rare Cuba Visit

U.S. winger Eddie Lewis says he understands the significance of the team's first trip to Cuba in over six decades and appreciates the uncommon opportunity to see the island nation.
With Americans restricted to travel due to a longstanding political freeze-out between the two nations, the newest Los Angeles Galaxy star is excited by the rare chance soccer has afforded him - even if time to check out Havana will be limited.
"From a historic standpoint, it's a wonderful opportunity," Lewis told Goal. "At the same time, it'll be a quick flight in Friday, play the game and then out - in a lot of ways, it's all business."
"Certainly, to go to a place that as an American is so difficult to go to, it's a neat opportunity."
