With playoff hopes in the balance, Kansas City coach Curt Onalfo is looking forward to a preponderance of home dates down the home stretch.

The Wizards have only won one of 12 on the road this year - a fact that has the boss glad the remainder is stacked with games in their friendly confines.

"We end the season with five of our last seven games at home, so this just puts more emphasis on winning our home games," Onalfo told Soccer America.

"That's MLS," he shrugged, pointing to an even higher than normal winning percentage for homestanders this season. "If you look at the reality, the reality is most teams have not done well on the road."

"We go to Houston next week, then we go home and our destiny is in our hands," concluded Onalfo. "Home is where the points are and we have to get points, no doubt about it."
