FC Dallas striker star Kenny Cooper is on the verge of moving back overseas to join 2.Bundesliga side 1860 Munich, Soccer365 has learned.

According to his agent, the U.S. international could be a Lions player within a matter of days.

"We have an agreement in place for Kenny to join 1860 Munich," Lyle Yorks confirmed to Soccer365. "We look to complete the deal early next week."

The 24-year old, who spent a couple of seasons in Manchester United's reserves, has scored 40 goals in 90 Major League Soccer matches, including seven in 15 2009 contests.

If the deal goes through, Cooper would become the fourth recent U.S. international to have suited up for Die Löwen after Gregg Berhalter, Josh Wolff and Taylor Twellman.

Coming off a 12th pace finish last season, 1860 open the new campaign against American netminder David Yelldell's Koblenz next Sunday.
