Monaco loan attacker Freddy Adu is determined to make good soon on the growing trust coach Ricardo has in the young American by scoring his first goal for the club.

The U.S. international has been coming off the bench, but started last week's League Cup match.

"Coach Ricardo is putting more and more trust in me, and it shows he has confidence in my play," Adu wrtoe on his official club blog. "I hope I will be able to reward his good faith with goals in the near future."

"I am still waiting on my first goal here in the Principality," he added. "Hopefully, it will come next week when we take on St. Etienne!"
