Columbus string puller Guillermo Barros Schelotto admits that the names are much the same, but that the sudden contenders have turned over a new leaf in 2008.

Led by the former Boca Juniors hero, the Crew have won three of four and sit level on points atop the East with new England.

"The team during this year is prepared for the playoffs," Schelotto told the Columbus Dispatch. "Our attitude, our training - it's all been working toward what our classification is."

"This year, the whole team understands what each player's function is in the game, in the team."

"The names are the same as last year, but this is a different team," he declared. "This team is very good."

Winding down the final year of his Crew deal, Schelotto stated that he would be up for a return next season.

"I am very happy here," he said. "If I have to choose, I choose Columbus."

The Crew get back to work with a visit to FC Dallas on Saturday.
