The American Abroad, who inked a three-year deal on Friday, is not the only recent upgrade for the Whites, who have also added Guatemala defender Gustavo Cabrera, former Heerenveen right-sider Jakob Poulsen and Hertha Berlin striker Nando Rafael.
"I'm very happy to join AGF," Feilhaber told Soccer365. "I think it'll be a good fit for me and the team. I hope to do well here to help the team succeed, and to give me new confidence and playing time which I desperately need."
"The club is on the rise right now," he noted. "They have signed various good signings in recent weeks and are looking to make a big jump in the league this year and next."
Though unsure of his specific role as of yet, Feilhaber did reveal that AGF coach Over Pedersen alluded to his adding a playmaking element to the attack - but the new #17 shirt is eager to help out in any capacity that puts him on the field.
"I have briefly spoken to the coach, but not too specifically about anything," said the U.S. Olympian. "He did tell me he thinks I can help the team creatively with smart passes in the offensive third, but I haven't gotten into specifics about much more than that."
"I will do whatever I need to help the team here and to allow me playing time. I think that's the only way me and the team will be successful, and I can quickly get to my best with consistent games week in week out."
AGF, who have one win and three losses from their first four games of the new season, must tackle domestic power Brøndby on Sunday.
