As the weekends starting to get busy for Americans in foreign lands,
Kenny Cooper scored on his 1860 Munich debut in a 2-0 opening day win over

The FC Dallas transplant bagged the winner with a precision header on 17 minutes and forced his compatriot into a few other saves before leaving to a standing ovation in the 72nd minute.

Matt Taylor helped FSV Frankfurt pull one back later in his 19 minutes, but the team were unable to avoid a 2-1 loss against visiting Duisburg.
Luis Robles served as back-up keeper for Kaiserslautern's 2-1 over Greuther Fürth.
