Union Espanola is one of the top teams in Chile. Since they were established in 1897, Los Diablos Rojos (The Red Devils) have played in the country’s top flight every season except for two (1997 & 1998) and have won 7 Primera División titles.
The team unveiled their 2015 home jersey on January 2, 2015 in a joint press conference announcing the signings of Sergio Lopez, Gabriel Mendez and Juan Carlos Ferreyra.
The red jersey has 3 features in yellow that stand-out and sets this jersey apart from others. The most distinct is the yellow diagonal stripe running from under the right sleeve to the bottom half of the V-neck collar. Team technical sponsor, Joma, is embroidered in black over the collarbone.
The V-neck collar makes its own statement. The 2-layer constructed collar has an outer layer in red and a yellow inner layer that only goes around ¾ of the neck.
¾” Yellow sleeve cuffs provide the finishing touches for the detailing and make the jersey pop.
The black, red, and yellow Eagle badge is over the left chest.
The Universidad SEK logo is across the front and in yellow with their color badge to the left of the logo providing extra depth to the jersey. The jersey has the PF sponsor logo on the left sleeve.
The jersey is completed with the Official Product Joma patch at the waist to verify its authenticity.
The Union Espanola 14/15 Home Soccer Jersey is available exclusively in the U.S. at World Soccer Shop.
