Despite missing out of the World Cup, Peru and Umbro have released a new set of kits for the Incaicos. These new uniforms will be worn for the first time as they help two teams prepare for Brasil 2014, England and Switzerland, in May 30th and June 3rd respectively.

True to Umbro’s classic style, the new Peruvian Home Kit remains mostly unchanged in its natural white and red diagonal red sash crossing the front. A slight modification is the return to the historical style which mirrors the sash for the back part as well, although now including the latest technological improvements to give comfort to athletes. It has a round neck design with a modern triangular application below, which together with the horizontal textured fabric adds to the retro feel of the shirt.

Meanwhile, the away kit will combine two tones of red. A more intense hue is used for the main part of the shirt, while a darker, almost maroon, tone appears mostly through the sash that remains as the kit’s main design element. The V-neck style includes a finishing touch thanks to contrasting center red lines, with the “Peru” stylized graphic in the back to match the Umbro logo in gold.

How do you like the new Peru National Team Uniforms by Umbro? Do you think these designs would have made a good impression had the Incaicos made the World Cup?
