The United States Women’s National Team 2015 home jersey that will be worn at this summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada was unveiled today by Nike in Los Angeles. The 2015 home jersey is a bold look! The all-white jersey has black details and only a small pop of blue and no red on the jersey.
“The kit and boots feel great,” forward Abby Wambach said at the reveal. “If you look good, you are ready to play well, and when I wear this on the pitch, I feel inspired to play well for my country, our team, and the fans.”

The white v-neck collar has no trim but is given some character with the ‘v’ insert. The only blue on the jersey is the triangular pennant on the inside back of the collar with the 13 stars representing the original colonies on it.
The triangular pennant creates a cool flag representation when half the away jersey is held next to the complimenting half of the home jersey.
The U.S. Soccer Federation badge with the 2 stars representing the FIFA Women’s World Cup titles the team won in 1991 and 1999 and the Nike Swoosh are in black.
A black stripe runs down both sides of the jersey. The stripe works to connect the jersey with the matching white shorts with a black stripe down the side. The design is also used to accentuate the body movements of the players. The Nike Dri-Fit logo is placed at the bottom right of the jersey.
The sock stands out as much as the jersey is understated. The sock has a white-to-volt gradient going down the sock and ending at the players’ cleats providing a unique ‘head-to-toe’ look.
The simplicity of the jersey gives it a clean and classy look, making it already feel like a classic in the making. And for the first time, the jersey will be available in both a women’s and men’s cut so that all fans can support the Red, White, and Blue by wearing an official jersey this summer.
The U.S. are in group D along with Australia, Sweden and Nigeria, and get their campaign underway on June 8th against Australia.
The U.S. WNT 2015 Women’s World Cup Home Jersey will be available on April 23 from World Soccer Shop.
