The biggest match for the U.S. men’s national team and Jurgen Klinsmann since the 2014 World Cup is the upcoming border rivalry with Mexico in the inaugural CONCACAF Cup in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 10. And to help fans get ready for the big match, World Soccer Shop has opened the ‘Don’t’ Tread On Me’ retail pop-up experience at SOHO Design House located at 6912 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038.
The temporary location will feature U.S. jerseys and other apparel that can be customized, purchased, and ready to wear to the Rose Bowl to support the Stars and Stripes against El Tri Color. Prolific sneaker customizer Kickasso will have customs shoes on hand for sale as well as an art installment of some of his best known works. And Stance will have a special collection of socks against for purchase.
“The Don’t Tread On Me Pop-Up Experience is a tribute to the fans of the U.S. national teams,” World Soccer Shop’s General Manager Jeff Stephens said. “The passion of the fans is an inspiration to the players on the field and has helped fuel the growth of soccer in the U.S. The 90,000 fans at a sold-out Rose Bowl is just another example of that passion of the fans of both the U.S. and Mexico for the game.”
But at the heart of the pop-up experience is passion!
A full gallery highlighting the history of U.S. Soccer and the national team’s support by the fans will be on display. The collection includes vintage USMNT apparel from the past 20 years. And artist Rob Ozborne has created a limited edition poster commemorating the CONCACAF Cup and the American Outlaws, the UWMNT supporter’s group.
The ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ Pop-Up Experience opens on Thursday, October 8 and runs through Saturday, October 10.
The winner of this 1-game playoff will earn a berth at the 2017 UEFA Confederations Cup in Russia.
