Tottenham Hotspur unveiled their 2015/16 home jersey and will debut them tomorrow against Hull City in the final game this season at White Hart Lane.
The white jersey features a diagonal sash made up of 6 navy stripes that runs from the right shoulder down to the waist on the right side of the jersey. The 6 stripes are inspired by the golden cockerel that sit above the club emblem above the East and West Stands at White Hart Lane.
The sash works as the background for the Under Armour logo, Tottenham’s technical sponsor, but is disconnected in the center of the jersey to allow the AIA sponsorship logo to run across the chest.
Navy detailing is used for the v-neck collar and on the sleeve cuffs. There are navy stripes detailing the back neck tape.
The Tottenham emblem of the cockerel standing proud on a soccer ball is featured on the left chest over the heart.
The Tottenham 2015/16 home kit is completed with navy blue shorts and white socks with a 1 wide solid navy stripe at the top of the calf.
The 2015/16 Tottenham goalkeeper jersey was unveiled as well. The jersey is a forest green with white piping running from the collarbone to under the arms. The panel under the arms features the 6-stripes running horizontally. The crew collar has a v-neck insert.
The unveiling was made on Tottenham’s official facebook page marking the first time a British club has worked with the social media outlet to reveal their jersey.
The jersey is made from Under Armour’s HeatGear material and weighs in at 107 grams. The fabric has built-in-four-way stretch and utilizes Under Armour’s Moisture Transport System to help keep players dry while playing.
Tottenham will unveil their 2015/16 away jersey, third jersey, and training gear later in the summer.
The 2015/16 Tottenham Home Soccer Jersey will be available at World Soccer Shop on Friday, May 22.
