With one hundred and ten years of history, Torino FC has amassed plenty of success as Il Toro (The Bull) and Kappa release their 2016/17 set looking to make even more history. One of Italy’s mightiest teams, The men in maroon have a set of solid shirts as they once again challenge Italy’s best in the Serie A, with Turin crosstown rival Juventus chief among the opposition.
Torino FC’s home kit is simple but a effective jersey. Coming in the standard maroon with white trim, the key element for this jersey is the bull from the crest in a silhouette at the bottom of the jersey.
The sleeves and shoulders have Kappa’s “Sitting couple” inhabiting the space, with four on each side. Thick white cuffs finish off the sleeves.
The back of the jersey commemorates the 110th anniversary of the club, with 1906-2016 placed under the collar.
Torino’s away jersey, inspired by Argentinean top side River Plate, is white and features a diagonal maroon sash with only Torino’s famed bull within the sash.
The third jersey is blue once again, but is in a brighter, more intense shade. The silhouette bull makes a return, as the shirt features maroon trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs, and white “Kappa couples” on each sleeve.
The goalkeeper jersey is dark green with maroon trim, and also has the bull.
The 2016/17 Torino FC home, away and third jerseys will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
