Adidas has unveiled plans to launch an indoor football center in Berlin ahead of the Champions League Final this weekend. The facility is made to meet the needs of a footballer, and test the limits of the player.
As part of the BeTheDifference campaign, The BASE will be working with 35 young players from Berlin to test out the arena, and is set to open to the general public starting Saturday, June 13th.
Located in Uferhallen, Berlin, The BASE will be officially revealed Friday, June 5th as part of an opening view party leading to a 2 v 2 tournament hosted by adidas. Guests will be able to experience the venue by partaking in small-sided matches, and having the opportunity to watch the UEFA Champions League final Saturday evening.
The BASE is equipped with several different challenge areas, including a 5-a-side arena and a trick shot studio. Measuring over 3,500 square meters, The BASE is a huge investment from adidas on the future of the game.
With 12 interactive stations to explore, 1,500 square meters of playground divided into 7 stations, The BASE is set to become an attraction for young footballers everywhere.
