Stoke City and Macron announced a 5-year partnership that will see the Italian based sportswear company provide the Potters their playing kits, training gear, and leisure wear starting for the 2016/17 Premier League campaign.

Macron will provide a unique look for the club in each season of the partnership and have been collaborating with the club on a look that is ‘that is both technically cutting edge as well as being forward thinking in terms of fashion in true Italian style.’  The club teased the new look on social media with the Macron logo placed on the red-and-white stripes of the Stoke Jersey

“We are delighted to be entering into a five-year partnership with Macron which, in commercial terms, is by far the biggest agreement with a kit supplier we’ve ever signed,” City Chief Executive Tony Scholes said.  “Macron are a rapidly growing brand in a highly competitive market. They are a company with big aspirations which is another reason why our partnership is such a perfect fit.”

Stoke’s jerseys this season are made by New Balance with Warrior, part of the New Balance group, providing the jerseys for the 2014/15 campaign.  The relationship never ran smoothly with official jerseys for the team’s store being delayed by 2 months at the start of the current season.

Macron is the technical sponsor for Premier League club Crystal Palace as well as Sporting Lisbon, Napoli, Lazio and Real Betis from Europe.  The also outfit the Scottish Rugby Team.
