Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben is set to be sidelined for around a fortnight through injury, the Primera Liga club have confirmed.

The Holland international lasted just 25 minutes of Sunday's draw with Espanyol due to a hamstring problem, being replaced midway through the second period after having only been introduced as a half-time replacement.

Robben underwent further tests on the injury on Monday morning, after which Madrid's medical team put his recovery time at "more or less 15 days".

That means the former Chelsea winger could be back in time for the Madrid derby against Atletico on October 19.
