Sevilla's Primera Liga clash at home to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday could mark the last time Daniel Alves and Luis Fabiano play for the club.
Striker Luis Fabiano, who is the second top-scorer in La Liga with 24 goals, and full-back Alves have been the subject of intense transfer speculation for the last few months and it appears unlikely that both of them will be at Sevilla next season.
Alves looks the most likely to move on with Barcelona reportedly among his biggest fans, while Luis Fabiano's situation seems a little more unclear.
The 27-year-old has said he wants to stay at Sevilla, but admits the decision is not just down to him with his family unsettled in the city after being the victims of an armed robbery, and an investment group holding 65% of his playing rights.
A third Brazilian at Sevilla, Renato Dirnei, is holding out hope that both will still be at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium next season, though.
He said of Luis Fabiano: "There is a chance he is going, but I hope that he stays because he has shown his ability to get back to how he was in Brazil. He has helped a lot to get the team a ticket into Europe."
And on Alves, Renato added: "If he is going, we need to thank him for all that he has done for us.
"He has given everything for Sevilla. I would like him to stay because is a very good friend of mind, but he is a professional, he has a family, children, and it is his future. The fans must be happy with what he has done for the team."
If Luis Fabiano and Alves do leave this summer then they have already played their final games for Sevilla as they are suspended for Sunday's match with Athletic, as is defender Federico Fazio.
Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez, whose side will finish fifth no matter what happens this weekend, is also without the injured Julien Escude but Khalid Boulahrouz and Adriano are available again.
While the Andalusian side may have nothing to play for but pride, it is a different story for visitors Athletic who are still hoping to get into the Intertoto Cup.
Last weekend's 0-0 tie at home to Racing Santander has left Athletic vying for a place in the competition with Deportivo La Coruna, although the Galician side have two points more than Joaquin Caparros' team with just one game remaining.
The Basque side's striker Aritz Aduriz has not given up hope though, saying: "To get the chance of playing in Europe next season would be very sweet. That's a big motivation for us."
Aitor Ocio, the former Sevilla player, Andoni Iraola, Ustaritz Aldekoaotalora and Joseba Etxeberria are all available for Caparros but Pablo Orbaiz, Gorka Iraizoz and Luis Prieto remain sidelined, while Asier Del Horno, Fran Yeste and Markel Susaeta miss out through suspension.
