Since turning heads at Brazil 2014, James Rodriguez has become one of the game’s most recent golden boys.  The 23-year-old has literally become the golden player for adidas as one of the global faces for the adidas adiZero F50 and spending time getting his unusual spray tan.

And it makes perfect sense that Rodriguez is part of the 3-Stripes There Will Be Haters campaign.  The midfielder has the creative intuition and lethal touch on the ball that makes his style loved by fans and hated by the opposition.  The Real Madrid player has been wearing the new Solar Red/White/Core Black colorway since it was unveiled in the middle of January.

And the new cleat appears to be paying off with 3 goals and 2 assists over the last 5 La Liga matches with Real winning each match.

The look is taken from Rodriguez’ part in the ‘There Will Be Haters’ campaign where he plays the role of the ‘golden boy.’  He is joined in the video by the ‘hero,’ Gareth Bale, ‘target man,’ Luis Suarez, and ‘hip hop VIP,’ Karim Benzema.
