U.S. women’s national team captain Becky Sauerbrunn, New York City FC Captain and international legend David Villa, New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan along with baseball, NFL, and NBA stars and 100 high school athletes helped open adidas New York City store this week.

The store located at 5th Avenue and 46th Street is the brands largest worldwide. It is inspired by common features of high school stadiums around the country with a tunnel-like entrance and bleachers that overlook 5th Ave.

In continuing their effort to environmentally friendly spaces, the build-out relied as much as possible with existing textures and finishes. The hangars and mannequins are made from recycled ocean plastic, continuing the brands close partnership with Parley for the Oceans. Customers can help with this cause by purchasing an adidas X Parley water bottle.

But the focus of the store is the unique services provided to customers as they shop for their 3-Stripe gear. The store has EXOS trainers, healthy juices and snacks co-created with Brooklyn-based Grass Roots Juicery, a concierge desk, a same-day hotel delivery service, personalized shopping experiences such as the Run Genie gait analysis tool, and more.
