Gerard Piqué trolls Javier Mascherano on Twitter
Gerard Piqué is well-known for enjoying social media, particularly Twitter. On Wednesday he held a Q&A with his followers, and one of them asked him if he thinks that Javier Mascherano would score for FC Barcelona someday, and Piqué answered what any would friend would say: “I’m sure he’ll do it sooner or later, he’s a legend!”

Mascherano saw Piqué’s answer and tried to tone things down by stating that calling him a legend is too much. Piqué saw the chance and took it: – Mascherano: “Thank you Geri. But I’m not a legend yet. Thanks anyways!” – Piqué: “You are welcome. For me, improving Reiziger’s record as the most matches without scoring a goal for Barca makes you a legend!” – Mascherano: “Hahaha son of a … You’re great even to make me smile. That is what I get. I hope I won’t improve the record too much”
That’s what you get for interacting with Gerard Piqué. Now other players may think twice before sending a tweet to him.

Mesut Özil watching Arsenal on TV
Mesut Özil’s absence in Arsenal’s line-up last weekend came as a surprise for everyone, and the team missed him in their goal-less draw against Stoke City. The German midfielder suffered a slight injury during a training, but according to Arsene Wenger it’s not a big deal. Özil watched the game comfortably at home (in London) with his dog Balboa, but we’re pretty sure that he wouldn’t like to repeat that when Arsenal plays Chelsea this weekend, and everyone is dying to see him wearing the stunning laceless cleats released by adidas earlier this week.
