Nike has released the home and away kits to be worn by all of the Slovenia national teams during the 2014-15 international soccer calendar.
Both jerseys use a simple Nike v-neck design. An outline of Slovenia’s famed mountains in green, blue and white runs across the mid-check area of each shirt. The same outline appears on the nation’s coat of arms. It continues throughout the front of the kit in a contoured pattern.
A pennant containing three golden stars appears on the inside neck of the new Slovene jerseys. They represent the small country’s appearances in the 2002 and 2010 FIFA World Cup and EURO 2000. Quite impressive considering the fact that Slovenia’s population is just above 2 million people.
The Slovenia men’s senior national team features a host of players on the books of well-known teams. They include Samir Handanović (Inter Milan), Mišo Brečko (Koln), Valter Birsa (AC Milan), Josip Iličić (Fiorentina) and Tim Matavž (PSV).
