Hull City manager Phil Brown reckons that newly-signed striker Daniel Cousin is the perfect addition to his Tigers squad.
The Gabonese forward arrived from Glasgow Rangers on Monday for GBP 1.5 million - half his reported GBP 3 million release clause - granting his wish to play in the Premier League.
Despite receiving a red card for his second bookable offence, the 31-year-old was pleased to sign off his Gers career with a goal in their 4-2 victory over bitter rivals Celtic.
Cousin said: "It has always been my ambition to play in the Premiership. It almost happened when Fulham came in and now it's a reality.
"It was fantastic to finish my time at Rangers by scoring in the Old Firm game. I don't think I'll ever forget that experience.
"I wish Rangers all the best and believe they can win the title. I'd like the fans to know that I always gave my best for them."
Tigers boss Brown added: "Anyone watching the Old Firm game will see that Daniel Cousin is an old-fashioned centre-forward with an eye for the big games.
"I know he got a red card in that game, but I felt that was harsh. I'm ecstatic to have got him."
