Emerging out of Liga MX, Club Santos Laguna have established themselves as one of the toughest clubs in all of Mexico, befitting of their nickname. Los Guerreros (The Warriors) have partnered once more with PUMA for a new pair of jerseys. This northern Mexico side, clad in green and white, are poised for another run to the top in Liga MX. With the Apertura 2016 just around the corner, a new look is the order of the day.

The club in recent years have used green and white hoops in unique ways, and this season’s entry is no different. Santos are using a lighter, nearly pale shade of green for the hoops, and the hoops themselves have a blurred gradient effect. As a tertiary color, black compliments the white and pale green as trim on the shoulders and the sides. The club badge is centered as opposed to the left chest.

The away jersey is boisterous, yet serviceable. Black and fluorescent green combine very tastefully here, with black sleeves and shoulders aided with light green trim on the shoulders, and the jersey’s main feature, the hoops, make the two contrasting colors stand out and pop. The badge is centered again, and we can see several sponsors for these jerseys. Soriano is the main shirt sponsor. A trio of sponsors are the cause for the centered crest, featuring Grupo Lala, Coca-Cola and Penoles. Bridgestone Tires on the right sleeve.

The 2016/17 Santos Laguna home and away jerseys will be coming soon to World Soccer Shop.
