adidas is bringing the world the passion of Carnival with their new Samba Collection.  The line that includes cleats in each of their 4 silos – adizero F50, Predator Lethal Zones, NitroCharge and 11Pro – uses the high colors and bold graphics to bring the passion and energy to the field.

The cleats will be worn by some of adidas top players starting this weekend with Leo Messi, Gareth Bale, Mesut Özil, Dani Alves, Oscar, Xavi, Karim Benzema, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Jozy Altidore, Omar Gonzalez and Graham Zusi scheduled to wear one of the new cleats.

“adidas always changes the game with its innovation and the new Samba collection will stand out even more on the field,” said U.S. forward Jozy Altidore.  “All players like to make statements with their cleats and the bright color of my adizero F50 will no doubt distinguish me leading up to World Cup next summer in Brazil.”

Brazil is home to the ‘beautiful game’ and is known for bringing one of the most creative and colorful styles of play to the field.  And with an unprecedented 5-World Cup titles it is hard to argue with the results.

The Samba Collection is released as the FIFA World Cup heads back to Brazil for the first time since 1950.
