The Russian Football Union and adidas have united once more to release the national team’s newest home kit. Group G runners-up in the first phase of EURO 2016 qualifying, the hosts of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia have booked a spot in France for next year’s tournament. In their consecutive European Championship berth, the Russians will aim to replicate the success from EURO 2008, when they finished third.
The kit comes in the now familiar maroon, with gold trim. The jersey has a unique v-neck collar at the top, with thin gold trim on the cuffs of the sleeves.
The back of the shirt features a thick dark blue stripe with a red, white and blue trim underneath it at the collar.
The jersey comes with sublimated Russian Coat of arms placed all over the kit, with an actual larger one placed at the heart of the shirt. The adidas three-stripe trim is placed on both sides as gold piping, coming from the underarms down to the hem of the shirt. The shorts and socks also come in matching maroon with gold, with the socks having vertically stripes cutoff by a gold stripe at the top, and Russia in gold text in the middle.
Russia’s EURO 2016 Home Kit will be available at WorldSoccerShop.com.
