Cristiano Ronaldo is extending his brand by becoming the jersey sponsor for a lower-division club in his hometown of Madeira. Clube de Futebol Uniao will wear the ‘CR7 Museu’ logo on the front of their jerseys to promote the museum dedicated to the Real Madrid striker.

Ronaldo opened the museum in December of 2013. The museum displays 100’s of trophies and awards the Nike player has won during his career. And it starts from the beginning. The 1st trophy on display was earned after winning a tournament with his childhood team, Andorinha, as an 8-year-old.
It also includes a lifesize wax model of the player standing ready to take a free kick in a Portugal home jersey.
