adidas is in the final stretch before the 2014 World Cup and have released some new colorways for their most popular cleats to close out the 2013/14 domestic campaigns.

Bayern Munich’s Arjen Robben was showcasing the new adizero F50 in Solar Slime in the Bundesliga sides 2-0 win over Arsenal in Champions League action on Wednesday.

Robben was a central figure in the win.  The midfielder was taken down in the box by Wojciech Szczesny which saw the Arsenal goalkeeper receive a straight red card when the game was still tied at 0-0 in the first half.  Bayern’s David Alba missed the ensuing penalty but the man advantage paid off over the remainder of the game.

It was definitely the correct call by the referee even with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger saying after the game that the Dutchman ‘made the most of it.’

It was the 2nd time that Robben was wearing the new colorway.  He debuted them in the 4-0 Bundesliga win against Freiburg on the weekend.  The German giants are comfortably on top of the Bundesliga table with a 16 point cushion over 2nd place Bayer Leverkusen.
