Club Atlético River Plate, one of Argentina’s most accomplished and beloved clubs, has an elegant new kit from their longtime kit sponsor adidas. The Millionaires, currently sitting first in Argentina’s Premier División, are the defending champions. The thirty-six time league champions are bracing for an unprecedented 2015 season which will have thirty teams in the nation’s top flight.

The kit features the club’s trademark diagonal band in a fresh two-color palette. The kit comes in red with white and black details, covering the colors of the club. The jersey has a black v-neck collar with matching three stripes trim and cuffs on the sleeves. The back of the shirt has an arched stripe at the top with the tagline “el mas grande” (The Greatest) placed above the stripe at the nape.

The wonderful two-toned band comes across the shirt, with the badge placed over the heart of the jersey and within the design. The shorts are white with a black three stripes on each side and black and red trim at the hem. The socks are black with red three stripes at the top, and has a similar red and white band design on the middle, a tasteful piece. The sponsors are BBVA at the front, Netshoes on the sleeves, and BBVA Frances on the back.

The club will debut the kit in action at a home league game on Sunday, November 16 vs. Olimpo.
