Following the unveiling of their home and away jerseys, Real Madrid revealed their 2016/17 third kit today. The jersey debuted in a special film as part of adidas’ First Never Follows campaign.
The video shows Real Madrid players and French manager Zinedine Zidane jumping to the pitch in a stadium full of hostile fans who are soon silenced by a golazo constructed from the feet of Marcelo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, all of them wearing the X16+ Purechaos cleats.

The black jersey features modern purple detailing that represent an aerial view of the way fans walk from Santiago Bernabeu to Plaza de Cibeles, the site where they celebrate with the players each time they win a new trophy.
Additional details include a bicolor tag on the v-neck holding the club’s name and a monochromatic version of the club’s crest in white sitting on the left chest. adidas performance and Fly Emirates logos are also featured on the front of the jersey.
The kit is completed with black shorts and socks with purple accents, and will be used by Cristiano Ronaldo and co. in UEFA Champions League action as they defend their title.
