RCD Espanyol and Joma have revealed their all new home, away and third jerseys for the upcoming 2016/17 campaign. The three shirts feature bold designs that celebrate the club’s proud heritage as one of the Catalan representatives in La Liga.
Home jersey showcases a traditional combination of white and blue, with an unique collar design and a central stripe with fad effect on it’s borders. Club crest is placed on the left chest scorted by three Joma logos on the right side and each sleeve.
A Catalan flag sits on top of the back, a small budgerigar graphic is featured on the lower right front and the phrase ‘Meravellosa Minoria’ (‘wonderful minority’) is applied on the sleeve cuffs.
Away jersey draws inspiration from the cross of Sant Jordi (Saint George), present on the Barcelona City flag and coat of arms. The later is featured on the lower side of the front. This shirt switches to a more traditional v-cut collar with lapels, featuring the ‘Meravellosa Minoria’ text on it’s inner face.
A third jersey was also unveiled, showing a modern combination of black and grey horizontal stripes with pink accents on the same template of the home shirt. Joma logos appear on white, and the Catalan flag is featured once again on the back of the neck.
RDC Espanyol 2016/17 home, away and third jerseys will be available at World Soccer Shop.
