Arsenal is blessed with some of the most creative players in the world but many of them happen to be left footed. Puma and the Gunners have taken a huge risk that could shake the soccer playing world by unveiling the world’s first left footed soccer ball.
Santi Cazorla, Mesut Özil, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin have all been part of the testing and development of the ball.
“It’s simply unbelievable,” Santi Cazorla said. “Before testing it myself, I would have never thought that this new ball could have such an impact, but I honestly think this is the biggest innovation I have seen in football for a long time.
What makes this ball so special is that the grain on the outer layer has been turned 180° and the left side of the ball has been reinforced with stronger foam to retain its integrity after multiple strikes from left footed players.
Not surprisingly right footed players have trouble controlling and kicking this rare ball.
