Puma is at again releasing a limited edition design for their evoPower boots. The new look is said to be inspired by Japanese dragons making them a rare collectors item for any boot fanatic.
The unique colorway is a limited edition similar to the evoSpeed X-Ray released back in September.
The new Puma evoPower Dragon pulls together the speed, power, wisdom, and agility symbolic of the dragon and passes that on to the player.
The cleat is dark red with hints of grey streaming down the instep and along the everfit cage. The skin-like dragon pattern is featured on the heel making these boots stand out in a way we have never seen before.
Cesc Fàbregas will debut the new boots this weekend as Chelsea take on Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
“As a Spaniard I can’t resist a red boot,” Fàbregas said of the new boot. “It’s really striking and the dragon skin graphic on the heel gives it a special look. It is a real honour to be the first player to wear it, this weekend when we play Manchester United. It is an important match and Manchester will be hard to beat as every point counts so close to the end of the season.”
The boot will be featured on field by Puma players Dante of Bayern Munich and Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud as well.
The Puma evoPower Dragon will be available at WorldSoccerShop!
