PUMA has unveiled a new look for their evoSPEED 1.3 cleat, a stylish Black/White/Pool Green colorway. The new boot will start to appear on pitches this weekend as the likes of Radamel Falcao, Sergio Aguero, Santi Cazorla, and Antoine Griezmann lace-up.
The black boot has white and pool green details. The ‘PUMA’ logo on the instep is made up of lots of small ‘PUMA’ logos and transitions from white at the toe to green mid-foot. The pool green also makes an appearance on the sole.
The cleat that is all about pace on the pitch has some key technology to help it achieve this. First off, the lightweight materials used to make the boot allow for greater flexibility and maneuvering.
Improved stability is attained thanks to an external midfoot cage that wraps around the foot, and an upgraded footbed ensures an even more comfortable fit. These attributes make this an ideal cleat for quick strikers and midfielders who require control and touch as well as high pace and acceleration.
“This latest evoSPEED colorway is a more classic design, more like how football boots used to be,” Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero said. “I like it a lot, PUMA have done a great job with it, and I’m looking forward to wearing it on the pitch.”
The cleat is also available in a leather option. The upper on this cleat is made from k-leather except for the external midfoot cage.
The Puma evoSpeed 1.3 Leather FG (Black/White/Turbulence/Pool Green) is available at WorldSoccerShop and other fine soccer retailers.
