The Colorado Rapids are sitting in the cellar of the MLS Western Conference Standings but the Mile High City side were able to reclaim the Rocky Mountain Cup from Real Salt Lake and will have that to use as a foundation for improvement in the 2016 season.
365.WorldSoccerShop’s Brian Jennings was on hand for the Rapids 2-1 defeat to RSL, they won back the Cup on goal differential after tying on points, and noticed a couple of new looks for the players with the off-season set to start after the final 2 games.
Vicente Sanchez has been wearing the adidas ACE silo earlier in the season but the Uruguayan midfielder has recently opted for the adidas Messi 15.1 (Matte Ice/Bright Yellow).
Honduran international, currently on loan to Colorado Rapids, Maynor Figueroa was spotted in the Nike Magista Obra FG (Dark Citron/Volt).
Marcelo Sarvas has been wearing the Diadora DD-NA 2 GLX 14 in the White/Red/Green colorway and usually still does in training but has switched to the new black/white color scheme (above) for matches in the last couple of weeks.
