New York City FC midfielder Andrea Pirlo and other high profile European imports are taking care of business off the field even if they are coming up a little short on the field.  The former Italian international tops the list of MLS Custom jersey sales and is joined by 13 other Designated Players (10 from overseas).

Pirlo improved on his 4th place finish from last year’s Top 20 Selling MLS Jerseys.

The other DP’s to make the list are last year’s top seller, Clint Dempsey, David Villa, Steven Gerrard, Kaká, Didier Drogba, Sebastian Giovinco, Frank Lampard, Diego Valeri, Giovani dos Santos, Robbie Keane, Graham Zusi, Osvaldo Alonso, and Kei Kamara.

The most notable name on the list, however, is arguably the Seattle Sounders Jordan Morris.  The only homegrown player on the list has risen from near obscurity playing collegiate soccer at Stanford to earning caps on the U.S. men’s national team as well as #4 on this year’s top sellers list.
