Major League Soccer’s Jersey Week continued with a new secondary kit for the Philadelphia Union. Philly enters year five of their MLS existence. The Union failed to reach the postseason for the third consecutive year, but were a finalist in the US Open Cup in 2014.
For the second time in its young history, Philadelphia’s away kit is primarily white with navy and gold details.
The v-neck collar is navy with a gold neckline. On the neckline, navy and gold in color has the slogan “We Are One” in navy text. The back of the shirt has an embossed Gadsen rattlesnake in black under the collar.
The sleeves have golden adidas three-stripes on both arms. Near the end of the sleeves has single navy stripes, also on both arms.
The new MLS emblems have the Union’s color of navy and gold with white shield trim and navy outline.
The jersey has many of its features at the center, with the adidas logo under the color and the Union crest under that. An embroidered center stripe with several stars within the stripe design are the main attraction for this new shirt. Bimbo Bread is the shirt sponsor once again. The kit comes complete with white shorts and socks with gold trim, and a Union wordmark on the back of the socks.
The Philadelphia Union 2015/16 away kit is now available at WorldSoccerShop.com and other fine retailers.
