The Panamanian national team has new kits from New Balance. With the Gold Cup coming up, the Red Tide look to get ahead and aim for CONCACAF’s title, something that eluded them in the 2013 final with the US defeating them 1-0. The kits were unveiled at a gala event this past Thursday.
Panama’s home kit is a bold red with darker red vertical stripes on the jersey. The darker red is also seen on the cuffs of the sleeves and on the rounded collar.
The inner collar features the harpy eagle, Panama’s national bird, with wings extended under a blue neckline. The back of the shirt has a Panama wordmark under the collar.
Airholes can be seen near the underarms on the shirt.
The harpy eagle also appears on the bottom right of the shirt’s front, with a sublimated appearance.
The home kit is complimented with the darker red shorts.
The change kit is white with grey hoops. It features some slight differences, such as grey pit spots and a different, modern v-neck type collar with blue trim.
For the Boston-based New Balance brand, this is their second team in their national team portfolio, with Costa Rica also suiting up for the company.
The harpy eagle reappears in the same spots as in the home kit.
The away kit has white shorts.
The Panamanian national team’s 2015/16 home and away kits will be available at WorldSoccerShop.com.
