Oskar Blues, proud sponsor of the American Outlaws, and Ball Corp have taken the initiative to help the residents of Flint, Michigan by sending 50,000 cans of water for the city’s residents. The water from the Oksar Blues’ brewery in cans provided by Ball Corp will ship from NC.

“Ball made cans available for our collaborative recovery efforts from South Carolina flooding and northern Texas tornado recovery. So when we learned of the need in Flint, we were able to make it happen quickly,’ Chad Melis spokesman for Oskar Blues said. “Having strong ties with our friends at Perrin Brewing in Michigan definitely made this effort even more meaningful. There’s still a ton of water needed, so we’ll keep after it.”
President Barrack Obama declared a federal emergency to assist Flint after city officials admitted that high levels of lead were detected in the city’s water. The city has drawn water from the Flint River since April 2014 to save money. Prior to that water was pulled from the Detroit.
Oskar Blues is a sponsor of the American Outlaws providing beer for night before and tailgate events ahead of U.S. national team matches.
