Shortly after Philipp Lahm hoisted the FIFA World Cup Trophy for German’s winning run in Brazil, the attention turned to the next 4-year cycle and Russia 2018.  FIFA officially started the countdown to the next World Cup by unveiling the official emblem for Russia 2018 today.

The new emblem continues the trend of 2014 with the official emblem an artistic representation of the World Cup Trophy.  The Gold/Dark Red/Blue/Black logo has the ball ascending into the air with three blue circles with stars inside within the ball.  The bottom of the emblem has a player raising his hands in victory.  The text ‘FIFA World Cup’ and ‘RUSSIA 2018’ are printed under the emblem.

And it is not too early to start getting ready for Russia.  The FIFA online store, store.fifa.com, has an exclusive range of Russia 2018 Emblem T-shirts and Sweatshirts.  This is the start of what will be the most extensive range of officially licensed FIFA World Cup gear in the history of the tournament.

The t-shirt comes in 3 colors, white, blue, and red, representing the colors of the Russian flag.

The emblem is printed in the center on the front of the t-shirt and includes the ‘FIFA Official Licensed Product’ emblem on the inside back of the t-shirt below the collar.  The same official licensed emblem is included on both sides of the t-shirt hang tag with it being printed on one side and as a hologram sticker on the other.

The first run of these items have been printed are being delivered in a special custom box with a special insert card on the Russia 2018 emblem.

The sweatshirt is only available in blue and red at this time.
